About RadixFlip

I built RadixFlip for myself. Other apps didn't look good, they were hard to explore, and you always had to click calculate buttons to see anything. With my low attention span in mind, I made it quick — conversions and calculations happen instantly, as you type.

What RadixFlip does

  • Converter: type a number in any base — binary, quinary, octal, decimal, or hexadecimal — and see it in all five bases immediately.
  • Calculator: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in any of the five bases. Division shows quotient and remainder.
  • No sign-up, no buttons: everything updates as you type. Results are computed in your browser.

What RadixFlip does not do

It does not collect the numbers you type, and it does not store your calculations. Conversion runs entirely in your browser. If you use the feedback form, your message is stored in my feedback form so I can read it — that is the only data I receive.

Editorial note

The conversion math uses exact integer arithmetic, so large whole numbers keep full precision. If you ever spot a wrong result, please tell me through the feedback form — I will fix it.
